I shall try with a picture, unsure about the ideal file size.

Here's a puzzle for someone ... I don't know the answer ....

The little "thingy" above the control panel for the Webasto, to me it looks strangely like the temperature sensor from Webasto.  I wonder how well the temperature regulation works ... the obvious problem being that the thermostat is stuck inside a cupboard, which has no circulation / mixing with the cabin being heated.

I reckon the Webasto would run at full blast (not being controlled by the cupboard thermostat) until the occupants fainted from heat exhaustion, run out of fuel after a couple of hundred hours, thereapon the occupants awaken and wonder which day of the week it is.

Popeye, that's a great picture.  please post any others that you have to supplement the official ones on the dealer or Hanse web site.

As far as the rotary dial contol you asked about, I would guess that's not a sensor, just a low to high switch.

I will see what other pictures I have that are usable, I have a lot of "behind the scenes" type of pictures, installation of tanks, Webasto etc.

But ... the rotary dial is fine .. that is warm / cold adjustment (I had the exact same on my last boat) ... but if you look just above the Webasto square panel, just below the switch for the fuel tank gauge .... then you see a strange little black thingy. That is the thermostat for the Webasto (same as on my last boat ...) ... and I reckon that this is a pretty dumn position to put it. Ideally it should be out in the air of the main cabin, not stuck in a cupboard !!

Have just re-visited hull number one ... and have taken some more pictures. Unless obvious the pictures are of the lazarette (or starboard storage room), the extra galley section with all doors open when only with one aft cabin, the big battery pack under the aft portside seat and the wiring system inside the lid just above the aft portside seat. Happy viewing!

I have picture of the diesel, sewage and fresh water tanks; but I reckon these are only for the specially interested....

Thanks.  Did you (or could you) get any pics of the area below the captains seat in the cockpit where the auto pilot will attach?  That would assist my electronics supplier in selecting the right components for our AP.

Sorry. I thought about taking that exact shot, but thought "nah" nobody will need it. I am revisiting the dealer on Monday, hopefully hull no. 1 is still there. Then I'll fix your pictures. Any more requests?

By the way, I reckon the position of the big autopilot (AP25) is a bit daft, it's out of the line of sight; therefore difficult to read the information and difficult to adjust settings. On my boat I have ordered the same setup of gyro, computer, rudder pump unit but have changed the display unit to the small unit that is the "standard" size (AP16). The display when in standby can be used to show a combined display from the other instruments, I will use mine to show speed and depth.

My reason for choosing the small AP16 is so that I can put it on the pidestall!  Altogether on the pidestall I will have speed and depth (standard from hanse) on one side, the AP16 autopilot (also speed and depth repeater) on the opposite side; and also Wind and Wind Repeater (one on each side). No doubt a chart plotter will find it's way in at some point.

The Simrad website (assuming you are looking at Simrad gear) is quite brilliant, it has the user manuals for all the units. I find these 100 times more usefull than the brochures, it's the manuals that show the actual display screen possibilities, and that give schematics of which units can be coupled and how. I have done a bit of speed-reading the last couple of weeks!! www.simrad.com

More pictures anyone?

Popeye, just keep those pictures coming.  They are all helpful since my 370 will probably be the 1st in the US and will not arrive until mid to late October.
