I had water leaking from the back of the raw water pump.  Quick bit of investigation I found that there is only one seal.

Its a simple job, no need to remove the pump.  remove the impeller and you can remove the seal with some long nose pliers, be very carful not to damage the sealing surfaces.  Clean up the spindle (check for wear on the shaft) push the new seal on to the shaft.  I used the old seal to push the new one home.
Refit the impeller.

(Bearings will need to be checked now salt water has been near them but that's a job for later)

I had leaking problem last year. Changed the seal. The problem was much worse. Bearing was gone,
I ended up with changing the hole unit.

Lesson learned: Be carefull about having the belt too tightened. The brearings are a bit too weak.

I changed my pump a year ago when it started leaking. The new one works much better than the old one ever did. For example, the throughput of water is better and it has a stronger suction so no more problems with priming after launching.
Thanks for the tip on how to easily replace the seal. Perhaps I will try that with the old one.
