Hi,
Has anyone mounted an analogue motor temp. indicator to supply the std. alarm lamp/buzzer, and if - did you just connect the wiring from the analogue instrument to the excisting wiring from the alarm/buzzer lamp? The std. alarm lamp/buzzer is activated when motor temp. is +95 Celcius/203 F but I would feel more comfortale knowing the temp. at all times. /Steen |

I fitted a temp gauge to my Hanes 341, VP2020 engine. This was very simple to do. I bought the temp gauge and sender from my local VP dealer. The sender screws into the heat exchanger, replacing a blank plug. The wiring is already in place. The temp alarm is separate and is not affected by fitting the temp gauge. All this applies to a Volvo engine. Hope this helps Steve |
