Hi All - I realise this is a long shot BUT .....
Having recently purchased a Hanse 400e - I would like something for downwind sailing.
I do not want a spinnaker , would like something easier to sail and would be interested in purchasing a used Asymmetrical ??
If anyone has something suitable for sail please let me know .
I want something to 'play' with for a few seasons before I order a new one .

Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome

Thanks

Get a furling gennaker like a furlstrom or a c series from north. Way easier to use that a snuffer and therefore you will use it more.

Hi Silver Lining

A furling gennaker is indeed a fine thing, but I doubt you'll get one cheap. If you want to try an asymmetric on the cheap, Sea Teach in Emsworth used to stock a range of various sails of various sizes at V V reasonable prices (presume they still do). I bought a spinnaker for my 312. Nothing wrong with it (won a few races with it and it lasted at least for the 10 years I owned it) and it was cheaper than the rigging and pole needed to fly it!

Thanks for the info to date .
I should have mentioned :
I does not need to furl, launched and retrieve from a bag on the foredeck, I have a bow prodder fitted.
it is for club racing, occasional cruising .
