Did anyone had problems with the main sail batten cars?
Mine had last the balls and locked in the middle of the mast.

German,

In our fourth season and have traveled almost 10,000 nm and no problem with these cars. Our cars do not have (thordon) balls they have wheels.

Mine also has no balls, I have the older Z-spar mast.
I did have problems when lowering the main, the cars where locking in the rail junction position.
I resolved it quite easily better aligning the rails and smoothing the edges in the junction with a file.

I live in Dubai, so dust is a big issue. What I do is just wash the cars and slide with soap and water. Seems to keep them running freely
