I do believe that the aft end of a 31 needs support. When my boat was stored for a month in Inverness the floorboards in the cabin lifted 10mm just between the chart table & the sink because the stern had been allowed to sag.
In my home marina, Bradwell, that would never have happened because the yard employees do the job properly
