I think I will invest in a Winchrite in a few years. Then you have all winches electric.

Winchrite is an option.

Longer winchhandle also.

Search function!!! Search function!!! Search function!!! Just remember to search in "all forums" and "any date" (default 6 months).
Just search "Lewmar electric winch", and you may find (among several other results) "Electric winch installation" from 18/4-2018, or maybe you find this picture of the plastic cover in the pantry under my electric Lewmar winch, installed by Hanse-werft in 2006
My winch has worked with no problems since the summer of 2006.

I will give you a bit of help, apart from showing you the search function:

In my diagram, it is stated, that the cables from the main switch (Winch) are red and blue and of a dimension of 50 mm2:
*****(HO7VK 50 rt+bl   -Deckswinde -Hauptschalter Winden -Deckswinde -Option *
*****                               decks winch -main switch winch- decks winch  -Option   *)
If you show your e-mail, I'm sure that somebody will supply you with an electric diagram for your boat.
Hanse has copyright to the material, so you can not recieve it by PM.  No copyrighted material is allowed shared on myhanse.

My Lewmar winch has 2 different-speed buttons, each with a signal cable of 1,5 mm2. They are together with the above-mentioned  red and blue 50 mm2 cables routed from the winch to the inside of the engine-room, then down under the floorboards to the ground(blue cable) and to the relay(red cable) behind my battery compartment. The red cable from the big relay (shown below), goes to the automatic fuse (100A). From the fuse then on to the main switch, and further on to the battery group. From relay to battery the cable dimension is 70mm2.

(Lewmar conversion kits are available, I believe you can save up to 1000 upgrading your current winch. e.g by svb.de).
