Hi,
I'm considering an shower for outside usage. Where is it standard located? At the back of the boat, or in the cockpit, or somewhere else? A picture would be great :) Thanks, Gregor

Hi, on our boat it is fitted at the back (port side). Works fine if you have been out for a swim ;-)
On the picture below you can see 2 covers: 1. Shower head 2. Valve hot/cold water If you do not want hot water in the shower - you normally only need one hole/cover as the shower head often includes a valve. Hope this gives you an idea?! Edited by PRCH - 15 July 2013 at 12:43 |

Thanks Peter. Clear picture.
I was more thinking of somewhere in the cockpit because all hoses are there too. In the part where the cockpit goes from small to wide, there is a vertical space from 17cm wide. Those from Plastimo should fit there, from what I measured. Any comments are more than welcome :)

Hi Gregor
On the pictures below you will see the installation on Blue Nose. I am not certain that is a factory installation, because the hotwater tank is from a local danish company. The Brand of the hose-handle is Attwood. ![]() ![]() I would recommend to have both hot and cold water outlet. When on land I use the shower to first empty the hot-water pipe/tank and afterwards the cold water-pipes with a standard air compressor. I don't need to take the compressor up the ladder. I still prefer to have the shower outside the cockpit following the philophosy: Dry inside the cockpit - wet outside the cockpit ![]() Edited by PRCH - 15 July 2013 at 13:39 |

I've been thinking about the back of the boat as well. Besides the location of the hoses, I also think if you want to take a shower when you awake, do you want to stand outside the boat (assuming you didn't want to go for a swim).
