Hi guys
Posted this message on a previous topic but might be a bit tangential so started this new one. Just bought a B&G Go free device. Having difficulty identifying where to connect the red, black and yellow wires of the power cable into the distribution board, or should it be to the back of the switch panel? Any ideas?

I would suggest the same source as the plotter connection black minus red plus yellow is the pilot cable connected to the plotter for automatic switch on when plotter is powerered up

Thanks Niels
Its a Wurth Electroniks switch panel. I can see where the plotter is connected and agree it would be best to connect to the same bus. Trying to identify another vacant socket on that bus though is the problem. I've looked at various diagrams of the sockets on the back of the panel and am a bit stuck!. Also I'm not quite sure what you mean 'black minus red plus yellow' are you saying only the black and yellow cables need to be connected there? The red is not connected to anything?

Sorry for not being clear, the red goes to the red or positive on the connector/switch for the plotter and the black to negative common , the yellow is a pilot wire for switching the unit on so has must be connected to the positive at the plotter switch but better still on the yellow terminal on the plotter as that will switch on the unit when the plotter is switched on on the plotter itself so in effect the plotter control the unit.
Hope this helps Kind regards |
