Peter, fully agree but can't get it done this year. To busy with polishing of the superstructure.... Will though coat the balsa under cable gland at the mast foot, this is the most vulnerable location for water ingress.

Henrik, promised a picture from the inside, in the process of routing a cable for a IS12 Mega I had to remove the sealing anyway.

Regards, Rob

Shaukaas, you're right about the missing battery vent.
W.r.t. venting of the cabin; right after handover in 2008 I've mounted 2 Plastimo's works perfect.

I read in the last number of the Norwegian magazine "Seilas", that on the new Bavaria 32 the problem with gas from the batteries are taken care of by using a hose from the batteries, to a outside vent. This gave me some inspiration on how to make an arrangement on my 320 - one of the winter projects... Embarrassed

Obviously this is a problem not seriously considered amongst the "cheap yards". So far it seems like Bavaria and Hallberg Rassy are the only yards taking these precautions.

From the pictures these looks like "Banner Batterien" with a hose coupling. Anyone familiar with these batteries?
