Hi 415 owners,
Has anyone installed a deck washdown pump on their 415? If so, where did you mount the pump, which thruhull did you T into, what route did you take to run the feed to the deck and where did you locate the deck plate? Thanks in advance!

The yard installed mine. They t'd off the seawater intake for the forward head. Installed the pump under the sink with a switch on the right side of the vanity / sink base. Deck plate is on starboard deck close to the location of the forward head. I use a self coiling hose that reaches the windlass for washing down the abundant Chesapeake mud.

Hi Placidman, JEC Marine manufacture dechwask systems based on DC brushless pumps. They can offer advice on installation too. http://www.jecmarine.com/deckwash-systems/
