i am looking at fitting a fitted genset into my new 415, one with a tie in to fuel and water cooling and exhaust. I considered a couple of locations but the height is not enough under the bunks.
Anyone have a genset installed? Any suggestions on models location where to fit, etc are much appreciated

Have you thought about a fuel cell?

yes, thought did cross my mind, but i am in SE asia and sail mostly between quite remote places, so cell would be huge problem to get fuel, diesel is much more common

Hi
If you don't have a bow thruster fitted a 4 kva gen set fits in that space perfect, bit of work running fuel lines but end result worth the efort. Exhaust goes through into anchor locker and then a skin fitting to the outside. Also you have the option of draining off 100 litres of water to mitigate its weight David |
