Hello Kato,
I don't have the sail plan. Can you mail this to me. One more question: how do you get the sheet on the winch. I am now thinking to put a fairlead http://www.seldenmast.com/products/?itemID=99&modelID=107 on deck. Thanks for all the support Michiel

Hi again, I tried to attach two word file pictures to you in a PM,
but PM has the same system as the standard attachment function in this system.
Unfortunately it does not accept the word format. If you PM me your mail adr. I
can fix it. But I will only have access to my mail system tomorrow
February 20th and will be away until March 6th. Cheers |

Have a look in the 400 forum, I put the details of my track extension in there.
I increased the track length by 1 meter with Harken 32 low beam track.
Photos a well. Existing holes will be 6mm tapped thread into ali. I drilled these out and went for 8mm tap as I was going up from 25mm to 32mm track. Each new drill hole (aft 1m) - drill right through the deck and through the interior liner. (ie no ali backing) Then take a large hole saw designed to make holes (think mine was 30 or 40mm) in desks and doors and drill up from inside to make a circular hole in the internal liner. A right angled drill will be handy in places. The fibreglass deck should now be visible. Now take the same saw and cut circular discs in 4-5mm thick aluminium. These will become your backing plates/ large washers. Now put bolts through addstainless washers on top of aluminium discs and tighten nuts. Message me if you hit any obstacles. The increased boat speed from a 150+% overlap is well worth the effort in light breezes. Craig |
