    Posted: 28 August 2015 at 18:24
As can be seen in the attached photo my calira panel has decided to glow extremely brightly and am not only unable to turn off, plus fuel water and battery switches and levels are not working.
Only way to switch it off is via the house battery switch!

Has anyone had this problem - if so how can it be resolved ?

Thanks
Rod

Same thing happened on my H415 (2012) two weeks ago, only that i lost the fuel and water indication. After few days the water indicator was back and after some more days the fuel indicator started to show 0%. After refueling, it came back too and both of them are in function now. I think there was humidity inside and since the weather turned very hot and dry looks as it went away by itself!

Hope the same will do in your case too!

Thanks Luca,
Mine is totally the opposite. It reached 54C in the cabin a couple of weeks ago as the a/c had crashed!! So I am hoping that when summer leaves the panel will fix itself!!
Today after pushing various buttons I had two new icons on the bottom of the panel, however nothing else  works, but there is obviously life somewhere!

OK looks like this is not a hot topic, however is there anyone out there that knows an alternative gauges or panel that could connect to the relevant feeds from house batteries, start battery fuel and  water tanks etc.
No response from the company that took over Calira and IM are looking into it.

Attached is the panel removed from the main panel. Well no attachment as site does not like my win 10 by the looks of it, although file is only 59kb and jpeg

Thanks

Hello Rod,

I replaced the gauge on the Würth Panel by:

a) Philippi BCM Battery Monitor for all batteries ( house, starter, bow )
b) Philippi TCM Tank Monitor for all tanks ( black, grey, fresh water, diesel fule )

The displays are not color (black on green background ). The Batt Monitor is really simple to wire up, tokk me less than 1 hour. Same for the tank Monitor, it accepts a range of sensors.

Philippi also offers a Color Display and a bus System to which all battery voltage and tank sensors can be connected. I did not choose this for cost and re wiring reasons.

Rod,
I use the Blue Sea system monitor. It measures multiple batteries, multiple tanks, an inverter if you have it, along with amp hours used on the house battery bank....

My Calira Sealine panel indicator went extremely bright but with no indicator or icons. The liquid crystal screen shines without any digits or icon. The same thing occured in my fusion music system's screen as well. (no digits only light). Does any one knows this problem and can help me to solve out?
Thanks
eli
