Hi Forum Smile

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for the H400 Hull windows other than ones from the Factory?

Have a small issue with a pair that have fallen out and the frames are completely corroded, would be great if there was an alternative.

Hi, i would get any competent marine glazier to look at installing toughened glass or acrylic replacements instead of these Lewmar products. You will have to make up some form of internal trim to cover the hull hole afterwards but good toughened glass bedded properly should also indefinitely.

Powder coated aluminium is always going to fail at some stage, have never seen powder coat on aluminium last like anodising does.

Just had a very interesting discussion with Lewmar UK, hatches and port lights are only covered for 3 years, amazing how paint can stick to an Aluminum boat for 20 years or more but cannot stick to a Lewmar Hatch for longer than 3 years.

Solution from Lewmar... Purchase new hatches.... Great for Lewmar i'm sure, another dent in the pocket for the Hanse owner.
