    Posted: 11 December 2017 at 03:49
Hello,
I'm currently in my Hanse 320 (2008) to install an autopilot with jefa dd1. Now I search the cable, which is provided after the description for the connection of the autopilot. It should be black and red in the description of the Calira panel.
Can someone tell me where the unused cable is to be found in the rear?
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the link!
Now I have
found the cable set for the autopilot but it is powerless, even if I turn on the switch on the Calira panel.
Is there any other fuses on the H320 (2008) besides the switches on the Calira panel? Are there "one way"-fuses somewhere?
If so, where are the fuses located?
Thank you very much for your help!

Bernstein, you are not the first one with this problem. Just open the link again and read the post made by hazyblue 08 July 2009. Our 320#166 had those wires connected to the switch panel, but maybe you are not as lucky.
Read the another thread you can find from the same link by me at 06 July 2009. There is description how to open the door of the switch panel of our boat. The first 320 models had different system, as did the later models.

Hallo Merinalle,

many thanks for your response,
I found the plug behind the Calira panel and also the end in the rear.
But I did not see a cut cable. Voltage does not matter in the rear anyway. I'll look again where the cable could be interrupted behind the panel.

Best regards

Bernstein

Where did you checked for power ?
At the computer terminals (aft locker) or at the drive cable end ?
Autopilot power comes from the panel straight to the computer and then exits from the computer (with a fuse) to the aft lazarette (under helmsman feet close to spare gas bottle locker) where there a connection with drive cables terminals.
First check the fuse located just under autopilot computer.
Hope this helps

Thank you Bruno,
I found the cable, voltage is behind the panel, also on the connector between the panel and the wiring harness. but no power comes at the rear. There is no power before the fuse on the autopilot computer. There must be a break in the wiring harness, but where?
Best wishes for Christmas

Take a look under & behind charttable.  There's some fuses there (at least on H355)
