Hi,
The shower mixer in my Hanse 400e from 2006 has started to leak (from the front).
There are 2 options on boatoon.com.

1) Shower Mixer control in set @20€
2) Single lever shower @68€
Does any one know if option 1 is enought?

Hi

I have just replaced mine, the sleeve had cracked.
I used the TSF1372 as it was a direct replacement. It would be quite a struggle to replace the whole unit. Which would be required if you went with option 1

I managed to unscrew the lever part of old unit, leaving the base and pipes, then put the new piece on.

I did have to figure out how to remove the cover etc to get the holes lined up when fitting the new unit.

We had a leak in ours and it turned out to be the ceramic cartridge in the inside of the tap itself.

Cost only a few pounds to replace.

There are plenty of you tube videos that show you how,

The top came off using a soft wrench (cheap to buy) .

Thanks for the advises. John, where did you source the ceramic cartridge. I guess they are unique for all taps and the Reich brand is not that common i Sweden.

I sourced them from a local DIY shop. They appear to be generic I took the old one out first to compare.
The other thing one of the videos suggested was just cleaning and reseating the cartridge and see if that cures it before buying a new one.

I got mine in Homebase not sure what stores you have in Sweden.

From memory it was the 35mm model as per the link

Hope this helps
