The stemhead fitting is held in place with several countersunk bolts/setscrews. Does anyone know if these screw into captive nuts or a threaded plate? There is no access to the back of these without cutting into the chain locker (unless someone knows otherwise!) so I am hoping these are not just nuts and bolts that require access to the nut to undo!
Been thinking about having an attachment point put onto the stemhead fitting for a cruising chute (as the later 325s seem to have), it is a bit close to the forestay but would be adequate for us) or perhaps a bob stay to the bow roller as we currently use the bow roller as the attachment point (in light winds only!). I am assuming that the bow roller is designed for a downward force and not upward so some form of other/additional attachment will be required better strength. I have seen some very nice designs on earlier posts but these would be rather over engineered for my requirements. I am therefore just looking to remove the fitting an having an attachment point welded. One other option would be to have an additional fitting over the top of the current stemhead fitting and use longer bolts to attach? Anyone done have any ideas?

You may also open (if there is) the inspection hatch in front of the cabin. If not, you may want to add one.
EDIT: From this link on the Norwegian Hanse owner club, you can download the H320 drawing for the deck-reinforcements. Edited by shaukaas - 02 March 2016 at 10:37 |

I have removed and refitted our anchor deck metalwork on our 320 and the screws appear to go into a plate as I had no trouble removing or refitting the screws.
