The above screenshot is what I see on my iPhone when running the «Link» app. Its the only message that the app provides.

My iPhone is conncted to GoFree and logged on to its Wifi using the correct passord.

As staten above I get error messages on my NSS 8.

I wouldn't give up yet as it should work.

If the software is now all up to date the problem must be in the hardware or the goFree or NSS set-up. 

Did you install it yourself? 

Have you carefully checked the wiring to the GoFree, particularly the ethernet connection between the NSS and the GoFree?

If that all looks OK then I suggest you re-read the set-up procedure for both the NSS (for GoFree) and the GoFree itself. Get the latest installtion manuals from the Simrad site as the GoFree/NSS interface set-up was not included in the 2012 versions.

If it still doesn't work then I suggest you call (don't waste time with email) Simrad support to get their suggestions.

If you really want a new plotter then just buy one but I don't think the GoFree not working is a good justification - it should work!
