Hi there

I plan to mount a windlass Lewmar PROFISH 1000 (700W) from HR marine in Sweden - retails at around 9000 SEK. It will be mounted rear in the boat coming through the transom. The natural position for this installation would be on the port side  - however as I and many like me have discovered - the 320 is not sitting at level, it leans towards the port side - see other post on this forum. So I would like to avoid weight on the port side, rather getting more weight over to the starboard side.

As such I had hoped to mount this at the starboard side most rearwards in the boat. I have noticed that the transom has a reinforcment on port side - given the weight of anchor and chains I recon there is a good reason for this... The starboard side does not have this reinforecment - Has anyone got some advise on how to reinforce, general advise on this kind of installation? Pics and descriptions most velcome.
