Gran Onada, w.r.t. to your question, I'd asked Gaastra Sails for price ranges, they replied with a complete price list for Hanse.
They measured a 350 (our boat) and a 320, don't know about the rest. Regards, Rob Hanse 320 DynamiX CAL Pentex Main 28,47 m² - € 2.650,00 incl. Does anyone based in the UK have any recommendations on where to buy deck hardware - such as Genoa cars... ? As far as I've been able to find out it's half the price from Norway for a set of Genoa cars from Lewmar...

Shaukaas have you already installed the genoa cars??? Is it a standard plunger-type 29441700... or different with some kind of blocks to make it adjustable from cockpit...if so how did you lead the sheets to the cockpit???

I bought the standard plunger cars; removed the bolt/pin and installed shieves on the car itself. The lines are led to a camcleat on each side, just beside the rear storage lockers.

any bright ideas on how to "repair" the innerliner after cutting it to place the reinforced backplate? what abt one of these inspection hatches? not that nice to look at but less work i would assume. also the bolts/nuts will then be accessable for the future.
another question. would you be able to send me the drawings for cutting the pom sheaves?

My "idea" consists of a thin plywood with some white leather look-a-like (same stuff that Hanse put in the ceiling) - either attached with screws or velcro.
I have still not finished up after my vandalism of the interior; another winter project, I guess... Please send me your e-mail on a PM for the drawings. |

So you got the above mentioned cars and ordered the sheaves separately??? What particular number??? Is it a single control line sheave - P/n #29471011??? Do you have a pair of double clutches on port and starboard side on the decks? Or there's a small cleat used for the genoa track adjustment and a single clutch for the sheets??? You photos would be a really big help here...when you send the photos to Raptor please do not forget me as well - alexshubnyakov@mail.ru
Many thanks in advance.. |

I bought the following from marine.com
(Lewmar Partnumber in brackets) 2 x Lewmar - End stop w/Sng CL shv&bckt (29471035) 1 x Lewmar - Sng CL shv assy (Pair) for end stop (29471011) 1 x Lewmar - SR Car Genoa Stirrup Plunger stop Port (29441720) 1 x Lewmar - SR Car Genoa stirrup Plunger stop Stbd (29441730) 2 x Lewmar - 72mm Synchro Jamming Footblock(Sz 2) (29927264) 2 x Harken - Micro Aluminum Cam Cleat w/Reversible Fairlead (H389) Some customization had to be performed to mount the shieves on the genoa cars. |

Thanks a lot for the information (as well as the drawing) Stian. I appreciate it...I have also checked out your pictures on the "Genoatracks" thread...very helpfull...(I still wonder why you think it's unnecessary to post pictures - it's a great help to all of us!)
I can now see that you've done a lot of work - lots of drilling, customization, reinforcement etc... you're right - hanse should have done it beforehand for us... I have some comments and further questions if you don't mind... 1. What does it mean Jamming footblock??? does this type of block actually jamm the rope like a camcleat or it works like a ratchet block??? 2. If it doesn't actually jamm completely - maybe there's a solution to install double cheek blocks and lead both lines to the winch?? 3. Do you think there can be a possibility to install double clutch on side decks instead of those camcleats to really be able to coveniently jamm both lines at the same time and then lead them through double cheek blocks to the winch??? As far as I remember you have substituted the double cluthes with triple ones so they're unused...why not to install them on side decks??? 4. Don't you think the angle of sheeting line guided to the winch by the footblock is a bit exagerated...does it work smoothly that way??? It appears from your picture that the Lewmar cheek block is a little bit too low and doesn't guide the sheeting line at the right angle to the winch...maybe it's a false impression...if you say that it works perfectly - there's no further doubts...
