Henrik

So you are saying the factory has built at least 499 of the 320's.
Just wondering as our build number was different to the actual hull number.

Dear All

The built number is a part of the CE-mumber back un the hull in starbord side. i just delivered a 320#517 ( 517 is slot number not build number)
it has DE-HAN B 0341 D 010   ( 0341 is build number)
This boat is from D = april 2010 so we have right now around 360-380
Hanse 320.
So Henrik 320# 430 it is not number 430 but !!

Best Regards

Hanse 430#261...no build number 179

Carefull with numbers - a lot of manufacturers in the UK start with a high number so that it looks as though a lot have been build
For instance if one sees a dinghy with number, say, 612 then one thinks there have been 612 built. Hence one may feel inclined to buy that class as it is popular. In fact the reality may be that only 12 have been built.
I suspect other countries manufacturers are every bit as wise to that as the UK is.  Manufacturers will always hype up the number built  if they can - it sells more boats

Hi Gordon,

We have delivered approximately 40 320's into the UK since it was launched in late 2007.

The #??? number is not the sequence number but a build slot reference.  I would have thought it is likely that Hanse have built about 600 of the 320.

Samuel - We do not build them in the UK, they are all built in Germany
