Between the outer hull and the lining of the anchorwell there is a small gap. As I recall. there is a 5 cm lenght of hose with clamps to direct the water from the bottom of the well to the outside of the hull. There is an inspection hole under the anchorwell in the front cabin.
I and a few others have had problems with sea-water in the cavity under the well, and most have thought that the ingress was because of a leak in the joint between hull and deck. In retrospect I think that a leak in the hose at the bottom of the anchorwell may be the culprit.
New members should check for water in this place - First time I discovered it, there was a lot.

In order to minimise the chances of the drain pipe blocking we added a plastic skin fitting screen inside the anchor well.

Is is not a complete fix, but easily implemented and greatly reduces the number of blockages.

Captain Cook,
Good point! I have the problem the some water in that cavity, but never been able to find the course of it. Can you access the the drainage hose from the inspection hatch?

Hi Kristoffer
As I remember, the inspection hatch is some 10-15 cm °, so it may not be possible to reach the hose.
Every year I remove a few liters of water, and it seems an easier solution than to make a bigger hole for access to the drainage hose.
Over the place where the through-hull penetrates the hull, I have mounted a delta-shaped stainless cover/scupper (built to this function), so the sea-water from the anchorwell can escape even when the boat is heeling, and the draining hole is under water.

Thank you Kjeld. Yes, I was thinking of making a bigger hole. Good idea with the cover.
