It would be great if someone could post a photo of the 430 after visiting Dusseldorf. This weekend.

I rec'd these by e-mail.  I haven't been to the show.

Cockpit shot with glass table.  Steering looks like cable-activated.  Is that correct?  Don't like that.

Bow, with what looks like an under-deck mounted furler.

Galley, looks much like the 400 to me.  Looks like a two-burner stove.

Halyard winch.

Port aft cabin.

Salon table is fixed with bottle storage.  Not very pretty, even looks a bit too delicate to be on a boat.  Don't know if the table has drop leaves.

Nav station.

Engine access, with a locker underneath.  Filters/tool storage?

Lazarette behind the steering wheels.

Keel, but unknown which draft this is.

Overall, looks like a Hanse.  To me, there are many parts of the 400 and some from the 470.  Very nice.

Saw these pics in higher res earlier today at the dealer. Very sweet. Furler is indeed under deck. I agree with your comments on the table. Also saw a pic that showed that one of the nav seats pulls out to be placed at the table for more seating....

....and now she's in her rigth element.....

On the first of February the sailing season in Greifswald was opened with the first practical test of the new Hanse 430e. Together with the builders, the first test sail on the Baltic Sea was done. This newest development from HanseYachts has shown the superb sailing characteristics that she was designed for. During the next several days further tests will be done on the stormy Baltic Sea to assess every detail of the new Hanse 430e A modern, tidy design, a continuous light-band which provides plenty of daylight, hatches flush with the deck, the open stern, a tapered masthead, an amazing amount of storage space and the consistent use of brand-name materials are just a few of the attributes which the Hanse 430e has in common with her larger sister ships. Add to that the superb sailing characteristics which are a natural feature of all models in the Hanse range: the main propulsion is provided by the main sail, and the high quality blocks and fittings are positioned exactly where the sailor needs them to be. Another special highlight on a yacht of this size is the jib furling system which is completely integrated into the deck and offered as standard equipment. Since there are no bulky components to block one’s view, this feature contributes to the excellent optical characteristics. However, it is the improved performance which is more likely to impress the sailor. Thanks to the considerably lower positioning of the tack, the jib has now increased in size and, by consequence, in effectiveness. The 2.2 metre-deep standard keel, made from lead and iron, provides a deep ballast centre of gravity and thus ensures a huge righting moment. The double helm positions and the covered halyards, sheets and trim lines directly in front of the helms ensure that the Hanse 430e can be perfectly sailed even with a small crew; the yacht is a true performance boat in all sailing regions.

Looks great.  I like the styling, much like the 470.  The underdeck furler is really great, this will allow for a better jib designs, with more sail area.
