This forum has been subject to attacks from cyberspace a number of times.
As anyone can see, the attacks via the internet has changed in the last years. Russian and Chinese government-paid hackers are stirring the pot in other countries elections via Facebook and by other means. - And if you want a better Tripadvisor-rating of your restaurant or hotel, there are companies on the net, which can help you with that little problem for a reasonable amount of money. Lately there has been talk about fiddling with the ratings on Trustpilot.
So, when an brand new anonymous member of this forum is crying wolf about this and that problem with our boats, I do get a little suspicios.
Just lately I have seen posts about interior, osmosis and rudders, that may or may not be real problems, but if the author is anonymous, how should I know?

And the reason for posting false messages? - Dealers of other brands or plain idiots?

If you search my profile, you will not find many details about my person, but I have posted the production number of my boat, so probably I am the person I claim to be. (Been here 13 years).
Reading my posts will also give you an idea that I am a real owner of a Hanse 400 named Freya.
You will also in my posts find a few comments on faults made by Hanse-werft, e.g. engine mounts,
refrigerator and other small problems mostly arising from the fact, that a bargain-priced boat sometimes may have bargain-priced building-solutions.

I hereby recommend to all new (and maybe a few old) members of this forum to post the production number of their boat, just like I (and a lot of others) have.

Furthermore I recommend to the real Hanse owners to be aware of trolls, and if you are answering a suspicious post from a brand new member, ask for a few details of the new members boat.

The only reason I am consulting this forum as a Hanse Owner is finding tips and tricks and a helping hand. There where I can have a contribution to help others in one word great !!  Everybody has his personal reason to buy a Hanse Yacht or not and problems can always be solved.

let's keep it that way, would be great Thumbs Up
Best regards
