We had a major engine failure Last weekend. Reversing into a marina the engine stopped. Died. Couldn’t start it. We shredded a fan belt which damaged the time belt and broke the oil seal.
But I now notice the engine battery is not charging on shore power on generator. Could it be a simple thing as a blown fuse? If so where would I find the fuse??

I think to remember there is a fuse nearby the battery, on the wire. i would disconnect the "+" from the battery and see if you have 14V - if you don't i would go to the charger/inverter and see the voltage there. do you have the schematics?
