Hi!

Do you think there is a need for a slight strengthening of the keel compartment (gelcoat) of the Hanse 300? There are indeed no transverse braces and I once saw a picture of a boat with a transverse brace between the front keel bolts. 

 

What is at the cabin floor level under the horizontal metallic mast support plate under the gel coat? Is there a piece of laminated wood for reinforcement or is there only fiberglass supporting the mast support ?

Hi 

What do you think of the crack under the mast post under the floor of the cabin in the keel compartment. It's a 300 wingkeel. I think that little cracks are probably not very important.

Are you sure this is a horizontal  crack?
To me this looks more like dirt on the upper end of the laminate wich ends there aswell. Look on the sides of the compartement.

The other crack could be a hair or a shadow aswell.

I would at first remove the floor board to check what it is in real!
