Duncan,

On our 2014 model yes. There is a light coloured paddle on the port side of the seet - pull it up and the chair will swivel. The is a small leaver which enables the chair to go in and out(closer to the desk etc).

Same here..      You just lift the paddle under the seat and it will swivel (and then lock again).

Moving it towards the desk or the bulkhead reminded me of a 575 I looked at where the back of the seat was so worn and abraded I wondered what could have done it.   Apparently the owner had pulled it all the way back and when using it rubbed the chair against the bulkhead.  Badly.     Then they probably complained about "a bad quality chair".. :-)

I've been careful about that ever since.

Hi

As I have stated earlier.I am fixing a lot of stuff as I have not been on the boat for over two years.

Of course my chair does not swivel because on inspection from the underside some bright spark has snapped the paddle off at the base.I am in contact with the supplier Nor Sap to see if a replacement flap is available.

Best regards

Duncan
