Trying to optimize my boat. Huge locker on port side in cockpit. Stb side I put a laundry basket with lines.

Port side is too deep to reach anything easily. Need a place to keep fenders, cleaning supplies, boat hook, shore power cord, etc. I do have some laundry baskets that organize the buckets, cleaning supplies, another one for shore power cord and extension cord.

But don't know a good way to store the fenders. I was going to put hooks on a board in there, but when fenders stand, not enough room to hang. Also any ideas on the boat hook?

Finally, what do you do for cup/can holders in the cockpit. I am surprised that Hanse does not build these into the table/chartplotter area. Using the ones that hang off the lifelines sort of works, but far to reach.

I suggest you search for two threads "Grab Rails" and "the great storage space".  You will need to select "any date" in the search criteria.  I and others have found that the stainless tube grab rails in front of the wheels are very useful and provide additional security when moving about in the cockpit.

Good luck,  Paul
