Hi all

I´m looking for a foldable table solution (preferably attached to the wheel pedestal)  for a 342 with a cockpit mounted mainsheet traveller.

Any photos, ideas, hints etc for inspiration most welcome ;-)

Thanks

Brgds

Hi
Just joined this forum and have just ordered a cockpit table from  http://www.kjhowells.com/3312
It should fit nicely and I like the 2 leaf fold out arrangement.

Very stylish Smile

However how would this mount on the pedestal without obstructing the traveller?

Cheers

Perhaps you would be better with the table on a pedestal leg and use when in port

I´m looking for a table solution, too

But I have the traveller in front of the wheel, see picture

How can I install a table?

this is the only picture i could find right away. one part of the hinge is installed at the pedestal and the other part on the table. with a pin the table is installed at het pedestal and if you zoom in you can see that the footrest of the table is resting on the mainsail track (locked with a harp closure). when sailing the table is in the locker.

Hi
We have this table set up for our Hanse 370.
It is perfect and never in the way because you can easily store it under the cockpit seats when not in use and is mounted on a swivel which makes life so much easier. Best table we´vw ever had on any boat. See link.

Just a thought but you could use the version suggested earlier in this thread that is designed for the Lewmar pedestal available from K J Howells. This table is fitted to the pedestal with a long pin held in place with split rings. If you had this type fitted you could store the table as normal vertical then remove the pin and re mount the table above the track and insert the pin and the lower mount when you need to use it. I have this type fitted on my 341 and although I don't have the main-sheet track in the cockpit I remove the table to store below as it rattles and gets in the way when on passage.

Cheers,

This looks like an ideal solution. I found out the model is called LAGUN Rimini.
Thanks for pointing me in this direction!
