Ah... Lewmar has a solution for the Enguard pedestal... with "quick release hinges".

this is exactly the same kit I purchased and made the table part myself. I am happy with the whole set up as it works well.

Yes, now it´s clear for me, how it could work out. Think I´m going for that solution myself. However the Lewmar white composite table seems appealing, I must now look into that.

I have one of these in Canada if you’re interested. It was the factory unit for my Hanse400 but I built a different table for my boat.
