Dear forum members,

Does anyone know what the "Dinghy" switch was/is intended for? We have it on our 531, but I assume it might be on the 540 and other Hanses as well? It's in the 12V group on our boat.

I believe long time ago (531-540 model) Hanse DC Philippi panel have a thermal breaker option for a fixed airpump Bravo in the garage for the dinghy.
The Bravo pumps where real garbage and Philippi (Hanse model 545)  change this description to AUX.

On our 575 the garage hydraulics are controlled by F/4 on the Wurth-less panel.    The air compressor (we deflate the bow tubes to get a bigger dinghy into the garage) is actually a pretty useful tool.  Not only has it been rock-solid for 6 seasons now,  its useful for blowing up inflatable fenders (storm coming or rafting up).     It can take the air out as well, but to be honest we have never used that feature.

I wasn't sure.   All I knew was that the model was TURBOMAX.     I found a picture and saw the logo for the manufacturer on the unit but the resolution was not good enough to read the name.    Soooooooooooooo...    I grabbed that image and put it into the GOOGLE image search.  Impressively,  it found it.    It looks a little different, but its the same model and probably what Hanse puts in today.

Here is what google found..  One from the Boatoon site and one from a retailer.    I find the price differences interesting, but probably not unexpected.
