You sound exactly like my mother!

She was very pleased when she saw the below picture from yesterday, when we actually got some wind.

Today we even got more wind and the temperature was down to zero, which meant that the mooring lines were frozen. The knots were quite heavy to undo and we had to store the lines in the main cabin while sailing to keep them warm.

Tomorrow will see some sub-zero temperatures so if were not making it back home it is because we couldn't untie the mooring lines!

Isabel has grown out of her (very expensive!) oil skins so she is wearing trousers that are too short and an old jacket of mine. We need to go shopping again.

Johan

It would be nice to start the sailing season now on day one. Inspiring! My new boat got new batteries(2* 90 Ah Li batteries), solar panel and controllers the week before Christmas so I guess that winter sailing could be an option. All the best!
