Hi all.

Just about to leave our boat after weekend aboard and noticed small quanity of slighly rusty coloured water around main engine gearbox. Generator located above and leak appears to be from a small hose in picture sticking our base of our Fischer Panda 5000i generator. We did run the engine for 3-hours this weekend as we had a shorepower problem but running the generator is rare; proably not run for two months. Generator is the Hanse factory install on a 445; eight years old with just 107-hours.

Any ideas? Had a quick look in Fischer Panda manuals but cannot see what this small pipe does.

Many thanks.

so far I know this is not original Fischer Panda 5000i.
Some kind of a drain (vent of fresh or cooling liquid) ?

Found it!

Fatigue crack in the heat exchanger.

Wonder how much FP will charge for that!!

Cheers.
