The large deck hatch forward, opening to the bow storage compartment and anchor locker, has a bad hinge.

This hatch is quite large: 27 1/2" square, made of black plexiglass, with three handles.

It has three black plastic flush hinges, forward, each secured with two metal screws which tighten into plastic. The plastic threads have stripped on two hinges.

All the hatches on this boat are Lewmar - but this forward hatch has no brand marking of any kind, so I didn't think it is a Lewmar product.

Anyone have any luck sourcing new hinges?

Or know the name of the hinge manufacturer?

Have reached out to Boatoon as well -

Many thanks and happy holidays.

The forward hatch is Lewmar as well. I replaced mine a couple of years ago because the plexiglass broke. It was sourced via Hanse or the website:

If you go through Defender they will be able to order the hinge for you I expect if the fix is as simple as replacing the hinge itself. I have replaced various parts on hatches and they have always come through for me on individual parts.

Mauri Pro Sailing have also been very helpful for Lewmar parts as well in my experience.
