I reckon about 7 years and it still good, just needs a wash with soapy water now and again. Another positive is that it protects the hull from further uv.

No , same distance; It just seems further when the wind falls light & is against you. Just do not fill up with fuel when you get here, because there are some officials in Ostend who might get upset |

Samuel, I plan to sail Pieterman to Ostend this weekend. Just like you - I suppose - we had very strong winds and heavy seas for the last two weeks. Now the weather is very fine, the marina is dredged, and I will be so glad to sail again after the winter.
By the way, is Great-Britain motoring away from the continent next week on march 29th? Ramsgate normally is 58 nautical miles from Ostend. Will it be more from now on? :-) |

Are you going to leave her at Zeebrugge for a while? I would have thought that the weather is a bit unreliable to leave her in the harbour at the RNSYC just yet
