Yes, there should be an access to that space. You should have a round inspection hatch in front cabin...
If you decide to make a custom made stainless steel sprit like I do, you will not actually need to access that space or drill any additional holes...just unscrew the bottom screw that holds the forestay and install a stainless steel eye instead...I use a turnbuckle as a waterstay...this is fine if the sprit is relatively short. I will come up with photos if you decide to make it this way...

There is indeed an inspection hatch in the front cabin, however, access is limited and you can't reach for the bow from the inside; too long and the access is too deep for that (almost waterline). In my 320 there are also two hatches inside the anchor locker, but, they are on the sideways of the anchor locker and also don't give access to the bow.
Are the srews of the forestay plate with bolds or are they in a laminated aluminium plate mounted? That would unscrew them rather easy. |

I didn't say the access is convenient...you would have to stick your hand all the way inside, and you will need to mount the waterstay just above the waterline if you are planning to support a full sized long bowsprit
...if not, a short sprit could be supported with a waterstay attached to the forestay plate. The screws are not fixed with bolts...there's a threaded reinforcement plate molded in the bow, so you can replace one lowest screw with an eye...and no...the screws will not unscrew for sure.Make sure you apply silaflex or similar loctite compound on the eye thread before attaching it...

Vielen Dank
Es scheint mir, dass wir Genua 105%, Code 0 und assy Spi brauchen. Es ist überhaupt kein geringer Aufwand. Es wäre gut, irgendwo ein gutes / geeignetes gebrauchtsegel zu finden
