Bonne année to all
Has anyone ordered the gangway directly from factory.....and if nowhere is the connector(swivel) on the boat installed from the factory?Do they install on platform or on the boat?

Or,has anyone installed one and if so.........where did you install connector?

We didn't order it from factory, but after 2 seasons in the med,we realized that jumping on/off the boat when in marinas is not that easy with all the different height of the docks.

We mounted the passarelle-holding on the cover of the rudder/autopilot. To reinforce the cover the boatbuilder replaced the original screws with machine screws and a metal holding for the counterpart. For the gangway we ordered a foldable type of 2.50m from Interra. During sailing the gangway is folded, stays (vertically) in the lead and is fixed on the rails. Like this we are very fast ashore. The adjustment is done by a line that is fixed on aftstay with an extra block. (Don't take the boom lift!)

Yes, the block is fixed on the Y of the aftstay. We also have to sidelines with cleats on the rails to adjust the horizontal angle to the pier.

Here is a pic of the lines. It's best to attach the cleat for Up/Down adjustment with a shakle to the backstay. The longer the gangway - the better, especially in Greece where you often have to dock in common ports (no marinas!). The front of these quays often are uneven (rocks!) and with a 2.20 m depth of the rudder you have to be very careful! Our gangway is 2.50 m, before on the 470 we had a gangway of 2.00 m which was always a hassle. In folded position and fixed on the rails it doesn't even disturb  the optical picture of the stern too much, doesn't it.

Hi,
I'm looking for the fitting on the swimplattform for the passerelle.
Mine is stuck on the passerelle.
Does anyone know the brand?
Best regards
