Hi,

You may be interested in this calibration for our H445 with 220-litre tanks. We always fill tank to full so over two seasons of sailing, have logged litres to fill against start %. Tanks has never been less than 25% full so no data below this.

Not strictly scientific and does include volume of filler hose as we always fill brim-full. What I am sure of is that when guage says 30%, we're down to last 50-litres plus a little more due to fill hose volume.

Cheers.

Hi,

There should be a breath exit in the cockpit just after of the Volvo control panel; a chrome knob.

Capacity is 220-litre plus fill pipe volume. We notice no differance with trim for diesel but do with water tank.

All 445's seem to look nose up; think the factory have bootstrap line in the wrong place!!

Cheers.

Hi, I have recently purchased a Hanse 445 2011 model and I was wondering whether anyone has had problems filling their diesel tank. Does this model have a breather on the tank?  The boat trim is currently bow up with a slight list to port.  If the nameplate says the capacity of the tank is 200 litre have others experienced that the working volume of the tank is less given the trim of the boat?
