Hi all!

After running out of diesel on the second sail out (shouldnt have believed the previous owner when he said there was plenty of diesel in the tank), I decided to retrofit a Level sensor to my tank.

Yesterday I received the machined parts and installed it, I must say its a great fit and a necessary upgrade, what do you guys think?

Pablo

Hi Pablo
This is very nice! Which make is it? And where did you order this?

The question will sound silly so let me explain the context a little. If it all goes well, I'll be the happy owner of a 315 next spring. My first boat. Since I signed the order I'm browsing like a maniac every video, picture, blog or forum where I can get that additional detail that I forgot to check in the only opportunity I had to see the boat in person. The 315 is no longer displayed in most/any of the major boatshows in Europe, and most of the detailed manuals and sites with content usually default to her big sisters. So here's the silly question; does not the 315 equip a fuel meter by default? It was not presented as an option when I ordered and honestly looks to me (novice skipper) quite an important component to prevent surprises.
