I recently added a galvanic isolator in the shore power connection of my Hanse 371. This was a precaution, as the power in my marina is first class and I am not having issues. However,when cruising I often connect to power in marinas that are not as "clean" as my home port.

Gent.IMHO Its inhalf to be  between two motor boats few days.
