No Solution yet. I havn't tried to remove the puff yet, will take a look into that tomorrow. That could work. Otherwise, I wait until I really need access to the charger and make a hole from above and make a hatch there.
Some things in Hanses are not soo smart, that's what I learned this year. |

Removing the puff is very easy. it takes 1 min. I took it off just to get more space. If it doesn't work check the battery tray as well.

Okay, that's a good tip. The puff is removed in a minute indeed. There is no opening behind it, however, I can easily make an opening there and you won't see it if the puff is there. So, will do that. Thx!

It may be easier to remove batteries and unscrew the battery compartment?

Doesn't help. You still got no access to the fuses and battery loader. It's placed in an impossible place. Look at the previous pics.

Our arrangement
is like Cptgood’s picture shows. I add another picture; it is made from the
opening under the chart table. The end of the battery compartment is clearly
visible. Your arrangement is different, so I don’t know if this is the way to access that equipment. If you decide to remove the battery compartment, be careful with the batteries. There are many ways to have big problems when handling them. |

Hi,
Just came across this post. About to install a windlass on my boat as it never had one and I plan on doing a fair amount of shorthanded sailing. I just wondered if anyone has added extra batteries and if so where?

I've installd 4 x 100Ah AGM batteries onboard my 320 about 6 years back, and these have been evenly distributed between port and starboard benches. This has worked out very good, indeed. It also helped a lot to align the weight distribution as the boat tended to heel over to the port side.
Today, however, I would probably go for a LiFePO4 solution.

We have bought one of the last H320 built at all, if not the last one.
There are no hull windows, but cupboards all the way long. Our charger is mounted below the chart table. I will try to upload some photos. Jan Edited by Janni - 25 May 2020 at 10:16 |
