Hi

The Navigation led on the main switch board blinks intermittently and my auto pilot screen is displaying a message "No autopilot computer"

Anyone with any ideas

Cheers

The blinking LED indicates there is a blown fuse. Check all the fuses behind the panel. This may or may not be causing the "No autopilot computer" error. But replace the blown use and see what happens after that.

I found that the autopilot fuse setup installed by HANSE on the 575 (at least mine) is problematic.

In the starboard cockpit locker is a 50 amp fuse for the B&G H5000 autopilot.   For some reason, HANSE put a 15AMP fuse in front of it at the WURTH panel. The blinking light means its blown,  but you really need to look at the bigger problem.    In a heavy sea its going to draw quite a bit more.   The 50 AMP fuse will never blow in my HANSE installation. Just the one at the panel.   I replaced the standard fuse with a 30AMP fuse after HANSE (and I hope they were right) assured me that the WURTH panel can provide that power to the line.    Its not 50 AMPS, but its better.

A proper setup would be to isolate the autopilot power from the WURTH panel and put a bigger fuse in place or a circuit breaker.    Maybe a 50AMP Blue Sea breaker with a bigger fuse in the H5000 cockpit holder.
