I have a question for you guys:
In the past year, I have only used about 35 hours on the engine. The Volvo Manual says to replace various items after 200 hours or 1 year. For example, the Crankcase Ventilator Filter and an oil and oil filter change. Do you replace having only done so few hours or would you run it until the hours schedule a change? Cheers! |

Tripilot,
In general I would replace the oil and oil filter on the engine yearly if you didn't get to the 200 hour interval. The engine oil and the filter are fairly cheap. Some of the other intervals like the crankcase filter could be extended I think.

Yup, I agree about the oil change. Great, will go ahead with that and extend the crankcase another 6 months or so.
