Hello everyone and I wish you a happy new year 2020. Sorry but I'm talking to you with a translator. I have a hanse 400 and my simrad AP16 pilot command is Hs. I have a simrad AC10. I would like to change this order without changing everything. Do you have an economical solution? Thank you in advance

hello
simrad has been purchased by B&G ...you should ask the dealer if the AC 10 is compatible with (AP24, AP28, AP44) that can still be found used. and ask if the AC10 is compatible with B&G Triton displays. If not, it is possible to find second-hand AC12 and AC 42 calculators that are compatible with the B&G and AP 24, 28, 44 range. Check also if your angle sensor is usable, you must surely have a dd1 unit that fits everything. you can also reach me by email in english. Hello, Thank you for your reply. I contacted simrad who told me that there is nothing compatible with my AC10 apart from an AP16 and AP25. Indeed, I could change by an AC12 but my problem is that I would not be bored, a new order. So whether it is for AC10 or AC12, I believe that nothing is compatible. lonlon

What autopilot did you change to?
Anyone that have changed to a Simrad NAC-2core on a 400? Is it to small, or will this work?

Two years ago we had to change, and we went with the NAC3 computer and AP44 control. It has worked great since then. Ours is a 385.

Yes, NAC3, is probably a good solution. Any othere experiences with retrofit of the non-compatible AC10 computer?
