I've found some 370 users that have removed the bathing platform on their boats. I'm sure many of you will disagree, but
I am considering doing so, too. The boat has it broken, and I even consider that both aesthetic and functionality would improve, with more room for steering and better access from the floating pontoon.
My idea is to cut the bench out and place it removable, cover the hinge holes with teak and let open all te rest of the stern, as in newer Hanse models.
Has anyone done something similar? What do you think?
Best regards,
Carlos

Hi,
I saw once a Hanse 400 with that kind of open stern. Looks very good and you create a lot of space. Beside that it doesn't look too complicated to me.

I did this on my 370e. Very comfortable!
The platform comes from Båtsystem and is 155 cm wide. The ladder goes deep and makes it easy to enter the boat from the water - very safe.

Thanks so much for your help. Here you are a straightforward recreation in photosop. The base picture is not from my boat. Do you like the solution?
