Hi
Does anyone have a plan of the electrics on a Hanse 540e (2007)?
I’m sure lots of people do lots with their own electrics but I’m sure that mine has been left how it was when it came out of the factory.
I know I have 11 batteries (Varta G14 12V 95aH 850A) and I know that they are in 3 sets. One set looks after the engine, one looks after the winches and navigation equipment and one looks after the domestic supply. The engine is the only 12V set and the other two sets are 24V.
Trouble is, I don’t know how many batteries are in each set and therefore I can’t calculate requirements for fitting solar panels. I also can’t work out how each set is wired to feed the items they power. And I can’t work out how my charger distributes charge to each set of batteries.
Ahhhhhhhh. Too confusing! Can anyone help please?
Sam

Maybe you can use this:

I can recommend the advanced search at the top of this page. Big smile
A lot af Hanse models have almost similar wiring diagrams.

On our boat, electric diagram was changed, but battery banks setup is probably the same:
B1: 1 x batt 12V for engine start: capacity 95Ah@12V
B2: 4 x batt 12V in 2xseries 24V for all services (everything except power): capacity 190Ah@24V
B3: 6 x batt 12V in 3xserise 24V for power (winches, hydraulic, bowT: capacity 285Ah@24V

Navigation electornic is powered from B2 with step down voltage regulator.
Genset is started from B2.
B1 and B3 is less sensitive to deep discharge, B2 have to be AGM deep discharge.

Hello,
You can't use the 470-545  wiring diagram for a 540/2007.
On the 470-545 we have a 12V system and only 24V for the bow truster.
B1: service 4X165 AGM 12V charge by generator or shorepower via Victron Multi plus and by 12V 60A alternator engine
B2: start engine and gen 1X95 AGM 12V charge only by  small outlet 2A Multi plus inverter-charger (charge startbattery outlet )0
B3: bowtruster 2X95 AGM 12V serie =24V charge by service B1 via Victron Orion 12/27,6 V 360 Watt
I believe Hanse did Not always build in AGM 's for start- and bowtruster some are Lead Acid.
