Anyone else here with the Mastervolt Mass Combi charger/inverter?

I'm a bit confused as to the wiring, and whether it is "as designed" or by accident on our boat. (I'm assuming "as designed").

So the question: with shore power connected, do you actually get any shore power from any sockets with the Mastervolt Combi OFF?

I don't, but I think this is how it has worked from the start.

Whenever I put the Combi to either Charge or ON, the shore power lights up as well, and the sockets work (when switched on).

I'm trying to decode the manual to find out whether there is some bypass configuration on the Combi that I'm missing.

But yes, anyone with a similar configuration?

We have the Victron Quattro which works just the same as you describe. It has to be on for the sockets to work.

I have a separate socket and changeover switch wired to give me power on board without the Quattro on.  Useful during long layups, for example.
