Hi , can any owners advise me on replacing the sails on the 2011 355 that I purchased early this year .Existing sails are from North and are the original sails supplied with the boat but Im struggling with performance on all points of sail .

Hi,
I own a H355 2011 with Selden rig.
I swap the original ST jib very early.  This North Sail Jib is too basic for its purpose.
I have a laminate (Trilam) jib with 3 vertical battens.  3 battens are a must and this allows 1 mē more sail area (24 > 25 mē).  They also allows a much better control of the leech (espacially on reaching).
Since 2014 this sail is really great and it keeps its shape.  Price (approx 3000 EUR then)

Since spring, I have a new triradial Mainsail (Contender CDX PRO 7 & 9).  It is also a huge improvement and allows a much better sail handling & fine tuning.  Cost : approx 3900 EUR

This kind of hull & rig deserve a better sailset than the original crosscut dacron one.  It's not cheap but it worth every penny.

Thanks for your reply that was very helpful . Will be ordering new sails later this year and will definitely go for a fully battened jib .

Agreed.  In 2017 I purchased all new Ullman Fiberpath sails.  They have performed flawlessly.
