I have just recently acquired a five year old 385 (love it) and am being daft but cannot work out how to transform my centre chart table into a bed or sofa. I know about how to lower the table - which cushions fit??

Would appreciate a steer on this

Thanks

Hi Mick,

Glad to hear you still enjoying the boat.  Please don't hesitate to contact me direct about any questions.

You may remember me showing you the small black triangles on each side under the chart table.  These pull out to create support bars for the table that lowers on a slide - just push it down.

The two thick side cushions have an outer cover that unzips to reveal an inner cushion that unfolds.  One for the seat and another for the backrest.

This was one question that I asked the dealer representative on my own handover and they didn't know the answer.  I don't think may boats took this option.

thanks Stuart. Yes loving the boat and now you remind me I remember. One question- did you get the reverse polarity light come on much? Does it come on when the battery is fully charged? I thought there was an issue with the cable and got a new one which was fine and then after a couple of days the red light came back on. I took it off and left it for a day after which the green came back on when I plugged in again. Any thoughts?

There are other posts about reverse polarity on the forum.
I did get this occasionally but usually put this down to issues with the shore equipment rather than the boat.  At my regular moorings in Portsmouth this never occurred.  Also I don't think this ever switched from green to red while on the same power supply.  In my experience it was always one or the other.
It is not related to the charge state of the battery which is best determined using the battery monitor under the chart table.
I think the consensus on the forum is that this does no harm.
